Flight taxes to be reduced from UK to Tunisia
From 1st November 2009, the Chancellor has announced that Air Passenger Duty (APD) will be restructured to take into consideration distances between London and worldwide destinations as opposed to the current system of flat taxes dependent on the location of the destination.
Currently the APD for return flights from the UK to Tunisia stands at £40, and this is set to come down to £11 from 1st November 2009. This is great news for holidaymakers as well as property purchasers who will benefit from a £29 reduction in their return flights to Tunisia.
With the addition of the new airport at Enfidha scheduled for opening around the same time, clients will be able to benefit from low cost fares to Tunisia as well as lower flight taxes ensuring that Tunisia will be a warm, sunny, easily reachable and affordable destination for many years to come!
